Where is Hey Caviar sourced?
Our kaluga caviar is sourced in the Western Pacific sea.
Why is Hey Caviar priced so much lower than competitors?
Big brands pay big for marketing, and they also price for perceived value. Another reason we are priced more competitively is because we don’t spread ourselves thin with many varieties which always adds cost to the bottom line. Instead, we focus on only one—the best—caviar so we can maximize the discount we receive purchasing in bulk and pass the savings onto you. Our goal in creating Hey Caviar was to make high quality caviar accessible to all, so we’ve made the conscious decision to focus on volume, not a niche.
If I don’t like fish, will I like caviar?
Truly great caviar does not taste fishy. It has nutty, buttery notes that make us crave it just writing this. Only sub-par caviar or caviar that’s past its prime tastes and smells fishy.
How can I tell if my jar of caviar is fresh?
If it smells fishy or has a slimy texture, it probably is not fresh and should not be consumed. If this is ever the case, we will send you a replacement immediately, no questions asked.
How is it shipped?
We ship our beloved caviar carefully packed in ice via FedEx overnight to the contiguous U.S. It will arrive at your door in under 48 hours.
